Just had a lengthy conversation about God’s sovereignty and human freedom with a Methodist and a Nazarene pastor. No blood was shed. It’s been a good day.

Truly disappointed by Baymont by Wyndham. Our youth group had reservations at one of their locations in order to attend a nearby conference. Now that location is under a winter storm warning and the conference is cancelled & they’re not willing to cancel our reservation.

Today was the first time in over two years that the church felt “normal.” Praying we’ve learned our lessons from COVID and we can put our sanitized hands to the plow for the Kingdom.

This will probably be a very unpopular opinion, but #TopGunMaverick is a stellar movie. There was no agenda…nothing but a great movie that paid appropriate respect to the first flick without remaking it. The theater I was in applauded at the end!

First run in a pair of HOKA shoes today. Eager to see how well they hold up, although the first 6 miles was like running with a cloud wrapped around my feet.
