OTD in Blue Bombers History Sept 10, 1995 Troy Westwood’s 27 Yd FG with 1:03 left lifts Bombers to 25-24 win over the Roughriders. However it was ‘Lefty’s’ trickery that was the story as Westwood scores the only touchdown of his career on a 11 Yd run off a fake field goal

Zach Collaros finally leads the Bomber offense to the end zone hitting Kenny Lawler for the game winning touchdown with 19 seconds left. On game winning drive Cats called for illegal contact and on the TSN replay it didn't look like it. 26-23 victory but not a satisfying win.

Chris Strevler is not the greatest at throwing the football but he did pass the ball a lot in 2019. Now in 2024 there seems to be no desire by OC Buck Pierce to let him throw the ball further than 10 yards downfield.
