Teachers are being forced to choose between their lives and their livelihoods, and we are at a point where the only reason most of us became teachers, the students, is no longer enough to outweigh the low pay, lack of resources, constant attacks and impossible expectations.

Just because some teachers would rather stay in the classroom than go into administration doesn’t mean they aren’t leaders. Many have amazing talents which can benefit a school by placing them in situations to use those talents. Honor their choice, dedication, & professionalism.

For teachers to be β€œAll In” doesn’t mean they have to be at school til 7 every night. Doesn’t mean they need to take school work home with them every night. Doesn’t mean they need to be swamped every weekend with planning or grading. This isn’t All In, this is Burned Out.

A 4-day school week for students is perfect for ALL involved. TEACHERS can use the 5th day to catch up with their insane workload! STUDENTS can catch up & participate in ANY off-campus, extra curriculars they’re interested in without the wildness of a minute-to-minute schedule.

Update: According to the ND Senate, spending $6m to feed school lunch to NORTH DAKOTA CHILDREN at income levels less than DOUBLE the federal poverty level is β€œnot the problem of North Dakota” but giving away $10m in PUBLIC dollars for PRIVATE school vouchers is.

THIS IS AMAZING! As a pro-choice, anti-Trump REPUBLICAN operating on $35,000 (compared to $1M) and who stood for principles and facts, I received 20% of the vote in a 5 candidate Republican Primary in ND! We can’t create change in a day, but we can create momentum for the future!
