#WildwebWednesday Devil's Coach-horse (Octopus opens) sheltering amongst Spectacular Rustgills (Gymnopilus junonius). When alarmed, this beetle raises its tail rather like a scorpion.

#FungiFriday Peppery Bolete (Chalciporus piperatus) seen at Lindow Common whilst out with NW Fungus Group. It's often found close to Fly Agarics(Amanita muscaria). The Peppery Bolete parasitises the Fly Agaric's mycelium.
