📟Shout 01:38 Padstow - We attended a report of smoke in a flat, the occupants of the building had safely evacuated. Firefighters used breathing apparatus to investigate and found the source to be food burning in an oven. The crew made the oven safe and ventilated the building.

📟 Shout 19:55 Bedruthan Steps - We were called to a fire at a hotel along with St Columb Community Fire Station and Newquay Community Fire Station. Firefighters used a portable pump to lift water from the hotels swimming pool and the fire was extinguished by two firefighters in breathing apparatus.

📟 Shout 11:56 RTC Washaway - We were called to a two vehicle road traffic collision alongside Lostwithiel Community Fire Station Fortunately all occupants of the vehicles were able to extricate themselves and our crew were turned back to the station.

📟 Shout 12:04 - We were called to a chimney fire in the town. The crew used a stirrup pump and rods to extinguish the fire internally, then a roof ladder and harness to access a fire damaged chimney pot and make it safe.

📟 Shout 11:37 St Issey - We attended a Wood-fired hot tub on fire. The crew used breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to quickly extinguish the fire and prevent it spreading to the property.

📟 Shout 00:45 Launcells, Bude - A crew from Padstow provided relief cover for a large barn fire near the boarder with Devon. We stayed on scene alongside Bodmin Community Fire Station until 09:00 this morning, ensuring the fire didn’t reignite.

📟 Shout 23:38 RTC - We attended a single vehicle RTC in St Issey. The crew worked with Devon & Cornwall Police and additional crews from Bodmin Community Fire Station and Wadebridge Community Fire Station to make the scene safe and assist with casualty extrication. Two casualties were left in the care of South Western Ambulance Service

📟 Shout 13:20 Kitchen Fire, St Columb - We responded to a fire in a kitchen, thought to be the oven. On arrival the source of the smoke was found to be some material in the back of the oven. The crew ensured the appliance was safe then handed over to the site manager.

At 10:32 this morning we were mobilised to a garage fire on #ParkViewTerrace, #Wadebridge. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels and safety jets to extinguish the fire and prevent spread to a neighbouring garage. Thanks to Padstow Community Fire Station for the support.
