Our SmartRecovery Business Finland team members Patrik and Janita got the opportunity to use small-angle light scattering (#SALS) for studying #lignin particles in Paderborn Universität Paderborn. 🟤🌍 Many thanks to the host laboratory of Prof. Klaus Huber for the excellent collaboration!

PhD position in my group Biobased Materials Structure group Aalto University in “Small-angle scattering analysis of cellulose fibers and their moisture interactions”. Check also the other positions and apply here: aalto.fi/en/open-positi…

3rd day of #ACSSpring2024 starting. In the Cellulose and Renewable Materials Division, we celebrate the achievements of Prof. Lars Berglund KTH Royal Institute of Technology with a 2.5-day seminar and a banquet tonight. And BTW, I will be presenting at 8am tomorrow morning. 😁

Open PhD position combining wood nanostructure, X-ray scattering and machine learning in my Biobased Materials Structure group group at Aalto University. Apply by May 31, 2024 here: aalto.fi/en/open-positi…

Our PhD student Enri presented her innovative ways to analyse X-ray scattering data from wood and plant structures using machine learning in the annual seminar of the Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems Aalto University. 🌲🌿☢️🖥️#NNxWOOD

Open #postdoc position in my group at Aalto University, related to X-ray scattering analysis of wood and cellulosic fibers. Are you the expert we are looking for? See more details and submit your application through the link. aalto.fi/en/open-positi…

Happy and excited to be in the FibReCompetenceCentre conference Chalmers University of Technology, with so many interesting presentations and discussions ahead! My talk on wood nanostructure and moisture interactions will be tomorrow.

Just came back from a SAXS tensor tomography experiment to image the local structure and orientation of cellulose fibrils in wood cell walls. Thank you to the hardworking team Afrina, Chihiro, Enri, Paavo, Patrik, Linnea/PSI, Mira/ForMAX, and to MAX IV Laboratory for the beamtime!

I have started as Assoc. Prof. University of Jyväskylä!🎉😃 Read more in the article, and join us as doctoral researcher or postdoc in exciting projects deciphering the secrets of wood/plant cell wall nanostructure: ats.talentadore.com/apply/3-4-doct… ats.talentadore.com/apply/3-4-post… jyu.fi/en/news/natura…
