Godot LandscapeTerrain Module. Working on biomes collision and heightmap collision streaming. Some nice features of the WorldEnvironment Node Enabled SDFGI/SSAO/Volumetric Fog/CameraAtributes. Biome Rendering still expensive, no lods applied #LandscapeTerrain #GodotEngine

We are almost there folks! #GodotLandscapeSystem running as an extension. You will be able of compiling the module and the extension from the same codebase. The module is ready but the editor needs changes to be compatible with #GDExtension

Almost ready. The difficult part is making all the editor code compatible with #GodotEngine modules and #GDEXTENSION . Still working on the extension compatibility but hey, at least the terrain runs on a 9 years old plus laptop

Here is my #GodotEngine Landscape System running on android and using the compatibility renderer. All settings at max. In a real game, I would hide most of the grass and use a lower tree density and, of course, lods.

This is not a pretty picture, but what you see is a 64x64 Km long terrain made with #GodotEngine. This is about 20GB of offline data splitted in 4096 regions, being streamed at runtime. The first load of the scene is painfully slow (more than 1 minute), I need to check the cause

A few more anoying issues to fix and my landscape system #MadeWithGodot is going to be open for testing. The extension editor is not perfect but it is usable.
