Customer got 4 quotes. Turned me down. One guy bailed. One tried yanking it out with his truck. Now they’re back in my inbox. Still complaining about price. Can’t make this up.

I make a game out of remembering every homeowner’s name. Using it often makes a real difference. I walk them through the plan before I start, and the results when I wrap up even when I’m just the subcontractor. Little habits like that have built my referrals like crazy.

I win jobs because of this constantly. Just landed a bid by recognizing another company’s pricing structure. Called it out, explained where I’d outperform them, and closed it, even at a higher price. Know your market better than anyone else. That’s how you win.

Buying a truck for the business. If I title it personally and finance with a personal loan (lower rates), but use it 100% for biz, can I still put it on the business balance sheet? Or is it smarter to eat the higher rate and go commercial loan + PG to keep things clean? Am I

Anybody have good recommendations for commercial auto insurance? My broker is pulling quotes over $15K/year, and State Farm says they can’t underwrite anything for my industry.

Nothing beats asking for a review in person. I’ll say, “Can I show you how to leave a review on your end?” Then walk them through it right there. Social pressure + good work = 5 stars, every time.
