I wish people would take hypersexuality as a trauma response seriously. It's not the same as enjoying sex at all, it's compulsive, destructive, and ego dystonic. And then it's used as a way to further demonize victims of sexual abuse or invalidate their trauma as less serious

honestly i really hate it when people only speak/retweet about victims of abuse and grooming in a fictional setting but are completely silent when it comes to advocating for REAL victims even when the victims in question are literally within their own circle
