STH 47 is closed between CTH S and CTH O due to power poles being damaged and in need of replacement. Road is anticipated to be closed for 5 hours.

We have taken multiple reports of a male purporting to be “Deputy Jacobs” of the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office. The impersonator is advising victims they have a “federal failure to appear warrant” and is asking them to settle the warrant for a reduced fine over the phone.

It’s national Distracted Driving Month and the WI State Patrol reminds drivers that texting while driving is illegal and dangerous. State law also prohibits drivers from using a hand-held electronic device in a work zone. #justdrive
