NEWS: We’re calling for an end of “low-value” Government ministers.

And yet the Education Minister couldn’t name a single degree, cite a salary threshold or define a good job which would set the criteria for these “Mickey mouse degrees”.

Right now, the UK has no sustainable fundamental research capacity. If the current university model -- maximising student numbers and minimising academic influence -- had been in place historically, there would be no legacy on which to coast.

Government - a good degree is one that leads to pay rises. Also the government - pay rises are inflationary. Don’t expect one.
