Thomas Nabb got his winter CX season off to solid start yesterday in round 1 of the 2024-25 NorthWest Cyclocross League, organised by Rossendale RC👏 Bike Futures

3 of our riders contested the Spatzwear races at the Brownlee circuit on Saturday.  In the Open 3/4 race we had 2 podium places with Will Jowett 2nd and James Marston 3rd.  Next up in the 100km (!) Open 2/3 race, Tom Cullen sprinted to 5th having also taken a mid-race prime. 💪

Round 2 of Monday Night Track League last night, with strong rides from Daniel Middlebrooke and Oscar Hall.  Daniel scored a fine 29 points and two wins in group 2 (including a dominant field-lapping final scratch race) and Oscar took two top 5 positions in a tough group 1. 💪

More CX action yesterday in round 2 of the Hope Technology Super Cross series. After a less than ideal start Thomas Nabb found himself in 3rd to last position but then put in great battle to move his way up through the field and finish in a fine 8th place (34th overall). Good work! 🙌

Round 1 of the YCCA series today and Thomas Nabb’s luck is still out. After a good start he suffered a snapped chain and had to run nearly a whole lap to get his spare bike. To then refocus and finish around 15th place was a fine ride under the circumstances. Well done Thomas 👌
