from today (2022-03-16), the base duration for a cheating restriction will now be 6 months (previously 3) up to 24 months (previously 6) for repeat offenses. restrictions before this date will be handled under the old system. read more here: github.com/ppy/osu-wiki/p…

Mathi has been issued with 6 month tournament ban due to his third major instance of misconduct in an officially supported tournament. disrupting entire tournaments by intentionally underperforming in high-stakes matches is disappointing to everybody who takes things seriously.
