The Honourable Commissioner for Education receiving Covid-19 protective items donation from the the Samuel Ladoke Akintola memorial foundation today at the Ministry of Education, Headquarters, Abere.

Schools in Osun State will resume fully on Monday 21st September. Pls disregard any rumour to the contrary.

WE WERE INFORMED THAT PROPRIETORS OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN IFELODUN LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND ITS ENVIRONS ARE EXTORTING PARENTS BY DEMANDING COVID-19 FEES OF N3000 AND ABOVE ON THE EXCUSE THAT THEIR DEMAND IS AUTHORIZED BY OSUN GOVERNMENT . WE QUERIED THEM THROUGH THE PRESIDENT OF NAPPS

FIND THEIR RESPONSE BELOW Dear President, I've listened to the audio message and here is my response: 1.The audio is not my voice neither is it any of our members.

2.There was no meeting or gathering where we said Governor or Osun State Government directed us to collect any money from parents.

3.The money the audio Speaker was referring to was the money we solicited from parents to cater for purchase of materials like face shield, nose cover, sanitizer to be given to students for prevention of Covid-19.

. It is subject to the approval of the parents of individual school after considering our Appeal. I want to state with all sense of humility that we did not mean to tarnish the good image and reputation of the state government. Thanks.
