Had a bit of a day, so I've made a rustic ratatouille with some added fennel strips & bacon (that needed using up) to crisp up. Having it with the last slice of tomato & onion tart I made earlier & some new, minted (mint from the garden), boiled potatoes.

Been to have my eyes tested. Not too bad, but inevitably a slow deterioration due to age. Sigh.

Scrambly eggs on toast 4 brekky 4 a change. Making bread - now proving.

Bit of an experiment...seemed to turn out OK. Had one & it was lovely. Used a silicone muffin/cupcake thing 4 the rolls.

I was at a loose end. Decided I'd make a small bowl of tomato soup 4 tea. Used a small can of what I thought was coconut cream to flavour it, but was sweetened condensed coconut milk instead. Had to throw it away - the most disgusting thing I have EVER made. 😫🤢🤮 Never again.

At a loose end b4 exercises. Seeded & malted (just 4 a change) bread proving. Ginger, cherry & caramelised pecan loaf (because I've not made it 4 a long time) out of the oven. Oven was a bit too hot, methinks.
