In memoriam Count Miklós Bánffy (1873–1950), who passed away 75 years ago #OTD. An influential intendant of #OperaBudapest (1912–18), he modernised the building, created set designs, and he was the first to stage #Bartók's The Wooden Prince (1917) and Bluebeard's Castle (1918).
