We continue to monitor & prepare for Tropical Storm Francine, which could make landfall Wednesday in Louisiana as a hurricane. Our New Orleans 9-1-1 facility has full generator and communications backups, allowing uninterrupted operations before, during, and after any storm.

NOLAREADY: Francine expected to make landfall along LA coast this evening as a Cat 1. By 11 AM, everyone in NOLA should stay off the roads and shelter in place.

8pm Wed: AT&T & T-Mobile customers are having trouble connecting with 9-1-1 services across a wide area impacted by the storm, including Orleans Parish. If you need to call New Orleans 9-1-1 & can't connect because of this issue, call our emergency 10-digit backup #: 504-671-3600

11/12 7am: The public is able to call 9-1-1 in New Orleans as normal, but our non-emergency 10-digit lines are partially down due to an outage. We are working on a solution and will advise as soon as possible.
