We are so proud of all of our nursery children this week. They have made us super proud of how well they have settled into Nursery life.

During reception #RE lesson today we engaged in a discussion about the bible focusing on the ‘Story of Creation’. Today Nursery created a Nursery cross together. We talked about what we enjoyed learning at school with our friends, we then placed a handprint on our cross. #catholiclife

It’s all about Elmer this week in Nursery. We will be having lots of discussions about feelings and how to manage them but at the moment it’s all about creativity.

Year 1 throughly enjoyed their first glockenspiel lesson. It was wonderful to see the children singing along with Luna the ukulele.

Year 1 have enjoyed trying our new tasty dinner menu at lunchtime.

Lower Phase enjoyed their assembly all about being stewards of creation and being reminded of Pope Francis’ message ‘Laudato Si’ asking us to take care of God’s world. This week we are thinking of all the ways that we can protect our world.#OLOWCatholicLife

Our Year two children were proud of their Mary mosaics they made in honour of Mary’s Birthday last week. This week they have taken their beautiful art work home to share with their families.

Today we have been creating the jungle which is the setting from our story. We had to categorise the animals into farm and jungle groups. We then explored the jungle further by watching some animal documentaries to find out more information.
