HIGHLY recommend this piece by Milo - from broken windows policing to a neoconservative theory of democracy, the politics of law and order, and the crisis of authority - incredibly timely and worth a read! cambridge.org/core/journals/…

In 1925, playwright Berta Lask wrote a play to mark the 400th anniversary of the German Peasants’ War. It has the Benjaminian premise of Thomas Müntzer rising from the grave 400 years later to tell the tale. Rab-Rab Press has released a new translation!! rabrab.net/titles/muntzer

another new thunderbolt O. L. Silverman: the idea of Utopia was born in the imagination of Thomas More as a counter-insurgent concept, an attempt to smooth over the tremors of popular revolt and early stirrings of communism..read about the Tale of Two Thomases (More & MĂĽntzer) here!
