Some years ago our red heeler Reba passed away. First time in my life I had no dog. Dad was very ill at the time and I thought I would wait to get another dog. Two days later I couldn't cope. I found a Border collie about 5 hours away and on the third day we picked up Maggie.

Maggie and Dad love each other instantly. He lasted an extra 4 months. Maggie then saw my family through the few weeks. So the next few years she was my only dog. Then one day i asked her if she wanted a dog of her own. She gave me the look.

The next day I took her to visit my mates puppy. She seemed to like it ok. A day later we made we a 15 hour road trip to pick up Maggie's new dog Evie. I now have 2 Border Collie farm dogs. I'm happier, they seem happy and all their human friends are when they visit.
