Today we celebrate the grand opening of the Greenhouse Learning Center! π±ππ± This $6 million facility will serve students in multiple disciplines in CASNR including Department of HORTLA, @osu_aecl, Department of Plant & Soil Sciences, natural resource ecology and management, and Department of Entomology & Plant Pathology.
In addition to six greenhouses β including an isolated entomology greenhouse β the Greenleaf Nursery Head House includes a modern classroom with plant prep areas where students can gain hands-on experience.
Dr. Phillip Mulder was elected as an ESA Fellow! π Dr. Mulder and his team grew the undergraduate program at Oklahoma State Univ. from less than five students to nearly 70 students, recruiting double-digit enrollment for the past seven years. π: okla.st/2ZLmrvV via Entomological Society of America
