OK, using their frame, I have it as 3 inches offside, so not quite as much. Probably more concerning is that their line is not parallel to the 18 and the 6 yard lines

Anyone saying "SKC should have won in regular time" doesn't understand how game states work. Is it possible they would have? Sure. But it isn't so clear cut that they should have won 1-0.

Hey all, hope I can get to some of the requests that have been piling up. Main problem has been that I had my daughter's tournament 2 weekends ago and then this last weekend the two of us reffed 12 games. So no, haven't forgotten about you all, just been busy.

Hey all, I know I've been absent, and I know that Andrew Wiebe keeps sub tweeting me from #InstantReplay, but I'm back. I am now also on Bluesky (@offsidemodeling.bsky.social) So what do you want me to look at? And apologies for disappearing like that.

OK, so that St. Louis goal against Columbus called back? I have it as 6 inches onside. I will say that it's harder than it looks b/c 2LD here has his foot off the ground so it isn't as easy as just following the lines in the grass.

That Nashville SC goal line situation? I have it as 3/8" inside the goal. Given the difficulties of the model and esp. goal-line situations, I can't be sure that it was or was not a goal.

The offside in El Traffico? That took LA Galaxy's Gabriel Pec's goal off the board? I have it as 9-10 inches offside. That's with a relatively conservative guess on position of the 2LD, so could be more.

The Atlanta United FC goal against Austin FC back from almost a month ago? Sorry for the delay, but it looks like it was onside. Only by 3" by the model, but no reason to think it wasn't onside from this

The first Philadelphia Union goal against The Crew back on May 10, from the free kick? I have it as 8 inches offside. Honestly, a _lot_ closer than I expected. Still feel like VAR could have intervened but this info makes it look less obvious than I originally thought.
