📢 Lagos Mainland Weekly Update (Aug 4–7, 2025) This week we stayed on the ground — inspections across markets & infrastructure, stakeholder meetings to boost security and sanitation, and actions to fast-track repairs and services. Progress is steady. Together, we deliver.

Today, we inspected Apena Cemetery — the final resting place of great Nigerians like Herbert Macaulay. We’re committed to renovating and preserving this historic site, ensuring it reflects dignity, respect, and our rich heritage.

Today at the Council Secretariat, we hosted the LSETF 100K Loan Project — a boost for small businesses, job creation, and economic growth in Lagos Mainland. Grateful to the Governor for championing this lifeline for our entrepreneurs.

Today, I received the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), Lagos Mainland Chapter on a courtesy visit. We discussed partnerships to boost agriculture, support local farmers, create jobs, and ensure food security in our community.

From roads to drainages, water supply to security; we’re building a better Lagos Mainland. This week, we broke ground for Osholanke/Jebba to Tapa Street rehabilitation, tackled blocked drainages, unveiled plans for Apena Cemetery facelift, and more.
