Regular reminder that goals in the Pokémon TCG should only be about things you can control. Don’t set a goal to get X placement, make the goal only to play as much Pokémon in preparation as you expect it to take to get X placement.

I think a problem with many player’s learning process is that most take what they see in videos or guides as general solutions. Someone experienced says “you do x against y deck” and they proceed to blindly do that every time when that’s not necessarily the best thing to do
