Earlier this afternoon, Las Palmas Elementary School was placed on a lockdown due to an unknown individual on the campus. Deputies responded & detained the individual. Students & staff were safe throughout the lockdown & it was determined that there was no threat to the campus.

Suspect in yesterday’s incident has been arrested. Moses Paulisin, 35, located at San Onofre State Beach by CA Park Rangers. He will be booked for attempted murder, resisting arrest, and assault w/ deadly weapon. Deputy was treated at hospital and is expected to fully recover.
