#AlderSpringsFire Update: With reductions in evacuation levels from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, residents can return to their homes. Therefore, the American Red Cross has closed the temporary evacuation center associated with the fire.

The #AlderSpringsFire is now 82% contained. Command of the fire will transition back to the local unit and a Type 4 Incident Commander this afternoon. Firefighters will remain on the fire today to continue mopping up the perimeter until full containment is achieved.
