You can work on your child's motor skills by spending time outside in local playgrounds and parks. The outdoors have lots of natural opportunities for children and young people to climb, crawl, balance, reach and throw which can improve their motor skills.

'Animal Walks' are great for developing motor skills and helping our bodies to regulate during the day. They encourage young people to use co-ordination and build strength in their core muscles, legs, shoulders and hands. You can use animal walks to move between activities.
