It‘s beyond crass that Leicester continues to brag on social media about the amazing achievements of staff and students, when they are actively destroying the university community by trying to make 145 staff redundant.

Nobody has ever chosen to study at a university because of a senior management team. They choose based on the quality of its courses, its reputation and its staff. Tomorrow, my university becomes immeasurably less appealing to new students. And that's a real fucking shame.
