Not sure about data tbh, but among situations I know and tweets I see on here, women are opting out of motherhood because: -cost of living is too high -decline in quality partners -health reasons -lack of village support (heavy on this)

Based on the conversations I've been having , most women want a partner who is equally as educated as them, and women currently outnumber men in tertiary institutions 2:1. Women would like to date up most of the time, which leads to most just opting out of marraige and children
