Matteo Ferran and Aeon Preservation have begun to partially dismantle & stabilize the circa 1865 red sandstone and marble Linthicum mausoleum. The pieces will be stored securely on site until grant & public funds can be raised for restoration & reconstruction.

Happy Arbor Day! Today we celebrate the historic trees of Oak Hill. Ecological historian Michael Gaige is creating a report of our Significant Trees. This Oak tree on North Hill by the Montrose Park fence line dates to the 1780s and is approximately 245 years old.

OFFICE CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT: The Oak Hill Cemetery Office will be closed between Thursday, July 17, and Sunday, July 19. All gates will be open on Thursday and Friday. For Saturday and Sunday, only the walk-in gates will be open. #OakHillCemeteryDC #OfficeClosure
