Food is a right - no one should have to choose between rent and groceries! We joined North York Harvest, ACORN Canada, and community partners at Queen’s Park (“Queen’s Park on Notice”) to demand fair wages, stronger social assistance, and rent control. We stand together for change.

For years food bank clients have said the #1 reason they have to use the food bank is the high cost of their rent. Yet the data in our Who’s Hungry Report, released in partnership with #dailybreadto, show it isn’t getting any easier for our clients to afford to live in Toronto.
