Last night's debate in both chambers could be summed up in an exchange between Assembly member Ed Ra and Majority Leader Peoples-Stokes, during which Ra asked whether Peoples-Stokes believes the benefits of legalization outweigh the costs. “Absolutely,” said Crystal D. Peoples-Stokes.
