Do you ever start a day shift and you have the worst assignment on the unit, you already know it’s going to be an awful day, but thank GOD the nurse before you put out & dated a new g-tube syringe and med cup 🙄

On/off/on/off/on night shifts are particularly disgusting. No sleep ever in between and no having a life or getting anything done outside of work for about 6 days 🤮 thank you timekeepers for all you do 🙄

Has any one out there ever have a physician put a patient on comfort care and not make the patient DNR?! Is this okay ever? I was under the impression a comfort care order implied a DNR status and you would never start comfort care on someone who is full code.
