Worship leading is like 10% music and 90% investment in your people. Man I love this guy!

Things I have become aware of this week… High School kids have no clue what old school rap is; and worship leaders are getting stupid with their click tracks. If the BPM is over 100bpm we better be playing an August Burns Red song!

This week I am 2nd electric guitar player for a great lead guitar player(Mitch). Mitch, a great player, also a humble and cool guy. We were sound checking on Friday, he turned to me a says ‘is that you?’ His face was awe struck. I said yes that’s me. 🤘🏻#blessed

Having to be a hovering parent due to a health issue, can be done without having to be one all the time.

Even though all the changes in my life, I am still not a first choice for people… but when you got no one else I am good enough. Jesus, I can understand what it must be like. Thanks for the lesson. You Rock!!

I get that my career credentials are trade/skilled labor, but as a Christian if you think because yours say theology, that I am stupid…. you’d be wrong.

Sitting in the principals office, when he introduces me to a student and she asks if I am a pastor…

I long for the days when worship bands played without tracks and clicks. When musicians got to be musicians…

Pretty sure I am needing to make a move in my worship volunteer life. I pray that God leads me.

Over the last month I have had many students who have opened up their lives to me say… You are better than my therapist. I am blessed that I can share my life as much as my students do, about how much we are all broken. #blessed #disciple

I am thankful for people in my life, who are not blood… but are family. Had a conversation with one of my family and they have always been looking out for me.
