I graduated from DIT Kevin St in the year 2000. My first graduate position was Medical Laboratory Technician. The following year, due to many years of campaigning, an Expert group report recommended restructuring the profession and a name change to Medical Scientist.

An incredibly disappointing response from The Royal College of Surgeons of England. Granted, many studies have limitations but this included >1 million patients and adds to other evidence. This was an opportunity to highlight what The Royal College of Surgeons of England is doing to increase & embrace inclusivity. Instead heโ€™s dismissed it.
