I really do hope that the committee members that planned the just concluded ECOWAS half marathon are held accountable for their lackluster performance in executing such a failed run that at no point, had the welfare of runners in mind. Preposterous!

I’m never ever running ecowas again. Imagine sharing pure water to runners. Imagine running half marathon under the sun.even after the run they didn’t give us medals. It was a crazy experience. I stand with #Runclubabuja.

This was the worst run I've ever ran Ecowas - Cedeao you put up a shit show on the 1st of March, do better!

This has to go down in history as the most shambolic race ever organised in the history of humans, hydration was zero and to think the organisers are going about patting themselves on the back as having done well, shows the level of mediocrity they're used to. Ecowas - Cedeao.
