I love seeing cattle on green grass. Hope we can keep grazing. We are so dry our rye has not grown much in the past two weeks. We pulled off half the stockers yesterday. Hope the rye will keep up with the rest. (This was a fresh paddock, not been grazed this season). UNL Beef

Entire cattle industry watching for where prices are high enough for producers to retain heifers & rebuild the herd… I think they’ve got it wrong. We should be watching for prices high enough to retain producers. I believe that’s the price the market is actually seeking out.
