Sparking Harvest Valley Elementary kindergarten imaginations one dot at a time on #InternationalDotDay.
Beginning stages of kindergarten reading. We gathered together on the rug to read and have a shared experience. My Harvest Valley Elementary students practiced following along and using their reading finger to track the words. 📚
Number talks in action. How many dots do you see? How did you see them? My Harvest Valley Elementary kindergarten mathematician communicated his thinking with us today. We enjoyed seeing and learning several ways of identifying the number of dots.
Today my students were engaged in a very special lesson taught by Christy Amoros. We learned that books are a treasure. Students practiced how to turn pages very carefully. It’s a treat collaborating with you Ms. Amoros. Looking forward to many more shared lessons this school year.
It’s a wonderful feeling to help my Harvest Valley Elementary students spread their wings and fly. Today I showed them how to access digital books in their level. They were so proud of themselves for reading several books of their choice independently.

Frosty the Snowman was alive as he could be this afternoon at Harvest Valley Elementary. Proud of my Harvest Valley Elementary kindergarteners. Thankful for parent volunteers who helped make our snowman costumes. With a magical hat and warm scarf, it all came together. Happy Holiday season.
Our Harvest Valley Elementary Kindergarten team is fantastic. We had a very successful holiday show. Collaborating with them is so much fun. Best of all is that all our kindergarten students are having similar learning experiences.
Hats off to Menifee Police Department Officer Flores for reading to our Harvest Valley Elementary kindergarten students. We enjoyed having you be our guest reader during Read Across America week. Our Romoland School District students loved the stickers they got at the end of the read aloud.

Today was a great day for Harvest Valley Elementary Open House. Love creating a welcoming classroom environment, displaying my students’ work, and seeing families enjoy the evening. This is my favorite event of the school year. ✨

Counting collections in action to help reinforce my Harvest Valley Elementary students understanding of number sense, one-to-one correspondence, and counting a collection by making groups of 10. We have 8 more days of learning and we are enjoying every minute of it.
