Some stark images over the weekend of the lake Charlecote Park (NT). Not abstracted but has now dried out with a devastating impact for #nature. #drought2022 #drought #climatechange @NTmidlands

We've been relieved to see a little rain here in the parkland. The lake has almost completely dried up with this summer's extreme weather. It's hard to believe this area can flood in the winter when it's been looking like this! (The other photo shows a more normal year) 1/3

The dams at Fishpool Valley really starting to look awesome after recent restoration. They do compliment the picturesque views beautifully. NT Croft Castle @NTMidlands @BritishDams

Love these water refill stations at Foremark and Staunton Harold Reservoirs. More of these please! Cool partnership between National Trust and Severn Trent - nice place to cycle - even nicer if you could find a trail link to Calke 😉 #NTByBike

The #GreatBigGreenWeek might be over for this year, but climate change remains the single biggest threat to the places we care for. Whether you’re saving water or creating compost - here’s how you can help at home.

This can’t be good. Look at all that top soil washing into our rivers and out to sea 😢😢. Photos taken this afternoon in #northdevon after a bit of rain #soilhealth #ClimateCrisis #waterquality #rivers

These pictures were taken a week apart, and what a difference a week makes. After the first week of planting nearly 500 shrubs, as part of the #DamsProject, the path at the end of the lower lake has been totally transformed. #Gardening #Transformation

Will be interesting to see how my MP Wendy Morton MP votes today. Last time she voted to keep discharging sewage. Please do the right thing Wendy not the politically savvy thing. Your reputation is on the line in my house. You need to protect the world God has made. #SewageScandal
