Probably my favourite Derby County goal. A stunning strike. Dean Sturridge was hot property in those days. Also, what wonderful commentary from Graham Richards. #dcfc #dcfcfans

Contemplating staying up in early hours to watch the Ashes First Test or risking a normal night's sleep, only to find out the match is done when I wake up! #Ashes #Ashes2025

I've had better Saturdays. Bad #Ashes defeat - one to forget. Bad defeat for the Rams - one to forget. Carlton Morris injury a big concern 😟 #dcfc #dcfcfans

Pleasing win tonight to erase the nightmare Watford comeback. 7th in the table πŸ‘€ Annoyed to concede late on but Derby never do it easy. Brereton-Diaz worked his socks off. Just needs a goal or two. #dcfc #dcfcfans

The WST deserves credit for bringing the UK Championship back to life. I felt the tournament lost its way some years back. But the return of the tiered system has done it the world of good. YouTube coverage and 'Judgement Day' have made it feel important again. #snooker

Ten years ago apparently. If I remember right we beat Hull 2-0 on a Friday night. Paul Clement days. Jacob Butterfield was outstanding. #dcfc #dcfcfans

Middlesbrough away never fills with me confidence..... we've had some hammerings there over the years. But I remember well Craig Burley scoring in a rare 4-1 away win and Matej Vydra's hattrick a few years back. Let's see what today brings #dcfc #dcfcfans

The UK Championship is bubbling up nicely. #snooker Mark Allen in trouble at 4-1 down. Allen struggling tonight as long tactical duels dictate the match. He can't seem to get some rhythm going.

Love BBC Snooker but John Virgo has been missed this week IMO. I've always felt Virgo adds drama from the commentary box and calls shot selection bang on. But the studio presentation has been brilliant. Steve Davis always great to listen to. #snooker

Terrible day at the office. Defence all over the place. All three goals were avoidable. Eustace should have made changes sooner. We did better in the second half but let's be honest we couldn't have been worse. #dcfc #dcfcfans

No Rams win on my birthday - but a much better showing compared to Leicester. Didn't deserve to lose. But Ozoh and Morris are clearly missed. Win needed at Sheffield Wednesday I feel. #dcfc #dcfcfans

Impressive win for Derby. Agyemang is growing in confidence. That first goal was outstanding. Made up for Thompson. I still believe Brereton Diaz will come good. Now the home form needs sorting. #dcfc #dcfcfans

I wasn't impressed with Derby today. Tough games over Christmas, so not winning at home today is disappointing. Home record this season is poor. I like Brereton Diaz, he really works hard. But he needs goals to justify his starting XI place. #dcfc #dcfcfans

Remember this match so well as a kid. I was about 10-years-old and really getting into Derby County. Sunderland were top but Derby won 3-1 to go top. The Baseball Ground was rocking. I got the football bug after this. #dcfc #dcfcfans

Good battling point for Derby. Impressive display with backs to the wall. Looking good until the Ward sending off changed the game. Agyemang getting better and better. #dcfc #dcfcfans

Great few days of snooker in Derby and TV exposure for the city's new Vaillant Live arena. A high quality seniors final saw Joe Perry beat legend Jimmy White. Derby is very much a hotbed for snooker, hopefully more events to come here. #snooker
