We’re excited to welcome Dr. Enqi Feng as the newest postdoc in the Malapit Lab! Enqi obtained his PhD in synthetic electrochemistry with Prof. Kevin Moeller at WashU Chem Center for Synthetic Organic Electrochemistry Enqi will be working on electrochemical cross-coupling methods. Welcome Enqi Feng! 🎉

Our preprint on computational mediator design for electrochemical sp3 C-H activation & elucidation of site-selectivity is online at ChemRxiv. Chemical spaces for mediator design and features for site-selectivity predictions! Baran Lab Center for Synthetic Organic Electrochemistry doi.org/10.26434/chemr…

Congrats, Zoe!!!! Center for Synthetic Organic Electrochemistry is enjoying your electrification!!

Congrats to Sabrina Reich and Dr. En-Chih Liu on their recent publication! 🪇🥂🥳 Such a huge accomplishment!! In collaboration with the Luo lab and Neurock lab. Learn more about Electro-oxidative Deoxyfluorination of Arenes with NEt3·3HF. Center for Synthetic Organic Electrochemistry pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…

A new group photo! Welcome Mike Pence mike from Rodríguez-López Electrochemistry Lab at Illinois to the group! He is a Center for Synthetic Organic Electrochemistry postdoc co-advised by Minteer Lab !

With Flaherty_Catalysis, we show how surface mediators influence the direct hydrogenation and PCET steps for hydrogen peroxide synthesis. Molecular and surface descriptors are presented to elucidate reaction energetics and to aid in future mediator discovery! Jason Adams Center for Synthetic Organic Electrochemistry
