Leaving me is ok, people do it all the time, I’m used to it. But what truly hurts isn’t the leaving itself, it’s the way you made me feel like i mattered. Like I was special, irreplaceable. One day I was everything the next I was nothing.

I don’t think people realise how lonely it can feel when you’re always the one checking in. Always the one reaching out. I go through entire days without anyone asking how I am, it’s like I exist quietly in the background of everybody else’s life.
