ZK proofs allow you to use a centralized sequencer while still ensuring that users assets can't be stolen. That gives you centralized performance from the users perspective, which is impossible to compete with as a decentralized system.

Super cool to see our friends' progress. Very important project it is that they are building. I am proud that with ZkCloud , we are contributing to Aztec through both sequencing and proof generation.

Wow. ZkCloud is now far and away the fastest prover on Ethproofs with avg proving times for mainnet blocks clocking in at 41 seconds. This is 1.56x faster than #2 ziskvm (multi-gpu) and 2.83x faster than #3 Succinct (single gpu).
