It’s been almost three months since I was laid off and so far I have discovered that I still love writing when it’s something I’m passionate about but I’m not a big fan of worrying endlessly about money. 🙃

‘WTF is THAT bug?!’ will always be my least favourite bug.

I was laid off in February and I just got a six-figure tax bill so if anyone has a lead on some contract writing or narrative design work that would be super cool because my anxiety is perma-dialled to 11 kthx 🙃

Also further to my last panic post: I stand with the WGA so don’t try and give me sneaky scab work because no sir, I don’t want it. 🤘

Pure joy. This is why I am a writer, this is why I work in entertainment. To everyone else it’s just a movie; to them, it’s a collection of memories, inside jokes, and the joy of working with other likeminded nerds. 🥹

Not only is it Mother’s Day, but it would have been a double-feature as it’s my Mum’s 76th birthday today too. Call your Mum today, if you can. I wish I could. 💕
