Not even a Phillies fan growing up, though I like them now. Dick Allen should be in the HOF. Will talk Red Sox and baseball in general.

Could you imagine Travis Kelce doing that to the Detroit Lions Coach, Dan Campbell? That confrontation would be worth the price of a Super Bowl ticket. nypost.com/2024/02/11/spo…

“I can’t believe that Babe Ruth was a better player than Willie Mays. Ruth is to baseball what Arnold Palmer is to golf. He got the game moving. But I can’t believe he could run as well as Mays, and I can’t believe he was any better an outfielder.” Sandy Koufax

The Yankees are going after Snell. What are we doing? Not much. We sign Hendriks who cant pitch until 2025. What about this year? Bring back Dombrowski. Breslow is the 2.024 version of Chaim.

Of the players whose careers intersected with him, only Mantle‘s lifetime OPS+ of 172 topped Dick Allen’s lifetime 156. His career 156 currently ranks Allen 20th all-time. He ranks 6th all-time among RH hitters, tied with Willie Mays, ahead of Aaron & DiMaggio. In my HOF!!

Why are we even thinking like this? Manuel Margot, when the Dodgers have an abundance of young pitchers? Wtf? Like, where are we going with this team? si.com/mlb/red-sox/ne…

Congratulations to Caitlyn Clark! Great player and a class act. However, not one TV channel's coverage today mentioned she has played 46 more games than Pete Maravich, who played without a 3-point line and averaged 44.2 pts/game. Clark has averaged 28.3 pts/game. Do the math.

“I was always paying for new windows all over neighborhood. Neighbors wouldn’t even bother to ask who was responsible. They would just come & tell me it was Dickie again. No baseball fields in all of Chewton or Wampum that could hold a stone if Dickie hit it good." Mrs. Era Allen

"They booed Dick Allen every night, often using the N-word & threw pennies, bolts or beer bottles at him. Off the field, they sent him hate mail & dumped garbage on his front lawn. Philadelphia’s sportswriters excoriated him as a rebel who manipulated race and expected special
