Sad to see this game wasn’t very competitive. Aaliyah Vance had a solid game knock down what seemed to be every three she took. She was the obvious choice for team MVP as just a Sophomore who plays at SSHS. Game ended 102-73.

Just saw this posted by the mother of a basketball player and it says a lot about the things all coaches need on their team. Not everyone can score the ball at a high level, but we can all control our attitude and effort.

This team is something special. Definitely an opportunity to get some eyes on Northern Nevada Girls Basketball. Hopefully other girls are putting in the work too so this momentum continues.

No doubt in my mind that getting the chance to get out of town to play different competition is the best way for the girls in Northern Nevada to get better.
