Today culminated with the amazing John Schu who spoke to my heart in a way that brought me to tears. Absolutely amazing three days refilling my cup with the 33rd cohort of Maryland State Department of Education Teachers of the Year.

Our amazing daughter graduated with her degree in Art & Educational Studies. We’re so proud of how she’s navigated the challenges of the pandemic/post-pandemic world to achieve a HS diploma, AA degree, and now a BA degree. She finally got a graduation ceremony too!

Today I said farewell to 211 & headed off for a much needed summer break. It’s hard to believe my year as FCPS Teacher of the Year has come to a close. So grateful to have had this amazing experience. Now it’s time to rest and reflect! Happy summer!

Several years ago @MrsClarkWKMS and I were the 1st to use OpenSciEd resources in FCPS-MD. We have worked tirelessly ever since to encourage & support other Ts to use these EdSurge HQIM. Currently implementing the Genetics unit & loving it. @FCPSSecSci
