How bad an idea is it to try writing two books at once 🙈 #WritingCommunity

Every time I refer to myself as middle aged, there’s a part of my brain that cannot comprehend myself and ‘middle aged’ in the same sentence!

Noticed there were avocados in my trolley I hadn’t paid for, so went back in and paid for them. Got home and my shopping bag split, dropping my decent bottle of red wine onto the concrete garage floor. It did not break. And that, my friends, is instant karma in action!

Love is making two pots of bolognaise because your daughter doesn’t vibe with chilli the way you do 🌶️❤️

Eldest daughter lost her voice at play practise. She’s now following me round the house using a text to voice app to talk to me. Even laryngitis doesn’t stop her 😂

Current level of chill

I entered my unpublished #uppermiddlegrade novel in the #readersfavourite awards this year. While the winners haven’t been announced yet, this was the review I got as part of my entry. My heart is very full ❤️

Today I put my hoodie on backwards and wore it for two hours before I noticed the hood hanging down my chest. I’m not sure what this says about me 🤦🏻‍♀️😆

My daughter has been cast as Donald Trump in a school house play. Other friends are playing Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and various South African rugby stars. I can’t stop giggling as I try to imagine what on earth these kids have written??? 😂

It’s my Twitter birthday, which makes me feel I deserve cake! Grateful for amazing friendships I’ve made on this site! You all rock!

Came up with the best story idea at 1am, half asleep. Even grabbed a notebook to write it down. Wide awake at 7am…it’s literally every romcom ever written! 🤦🏻‍♀️
