I did not see everything on this incredible seawatch this morning but almost - including around 2000, albeit distant, Sabine’s Gulls. There was a world record day count here two days ago of the species - over 4500. Today’s group list: ebird.org/checklist/S193…

Juv Turtle Dove in a garden in Southwell on Portland today. Only the 3rd bird on the island this year.

My UK winter gulling has begun with an early return to Cornwall. Just by chance the adult atlantis / Azorean was at Newlyn to welcome us … my third this year. 😀
