The first of our writing prompts. I’d play ‘Sweetest Gift’ by Sade as I used to play this on my way home after visiting Theo in ITU. It was winter and the moon was always shining. I would pray to the moon to protect him 🌕💙

There are many ways we might have held our baby. Perhaps held in our arms, held in the womb before they were born, or held in our thoughts. How would you describe that feeling? You could write about physical sensations, thoughts or feelings. Try a list, or a poem, or just notes.

6 years today since I was admitted with kidney failure. Thanks to NHS Lothian, my kidneys are now at 30% function. I continued to work and this has meant thousands of families have been supported after their baby dies. I love this thought and thinking about ripples of care 💓

Scottish Government has announced improvements to miscarriage care, drawing on our research & recommendations. Its Delivery Framework for Miscarriage Care means families in Scotland won't have to go through 3 miscarriages before accessing specialist support: bit.ly/40PNA2g
